About Rhizome Urban Gardens
We're a team of passionate gardeners, designers, and environmental stewards dedicated to creating beautiful, sustainable spaces.
Helping Plants & People Grow Together
At Rhizome Urban Gardens, we believe in the power of plants! Our mission is to create green spaces that make people feel grounded, calm, and inspired. Whether we are sprucing up a tech office to bolster creativity, growing food on a downtown rooftop to donate to a nonprofit, or making a homeowner's dream of a backyard oasis come true, our team is passionate about what we create.
Our Commitment
These principles guide everything we do, from design decisions to daily operations.
Sustainability
We design gardens that work with nature, not against it. Our approach minimizes water use, supports local ecosystems, and creates lasting beauty.
Organic Practices
We never use synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Our methods build healthy soil and create gardens that are safe for your family and pets.
Native Plants
California native plants are the foundation of our designs. They require less water, attract pollinators, and create habitat for local wildlife.
Permaculture
Our designs are inspired by permaculture principles, creating productive gardens that mimic natural ecosystems and become more abundant over time.
