Rooftop Carrot Harvest

For the last few months, we’ve been tending to a rooftop vegetable garden in SoMa — last week, we harvested nearly 10 lbs of white and Parisian carrots, all of which were donated to Old Skool Cafe, a youth-run supper club that "empowers at-risk, formerly incarcerated, and foster care youth (ages 16–22) through job training, employment, and a supportive community."

Today, we refreshed those empty planters, adding some of our favorite winter veggies: Napa cabbage, Swiss chard, Oakleaf lettuce, and more!
